Fees & Getting Started
I believe in transparency about cost. Here's everything you need to know about fees and the process of beginning therapy.
Session Fees
Individual Therapy
$150
per 50-minute session
Couples & Family
$180
per 50-minute session
Free Consultation
Every new client starts with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to make sure we're a good fit.
A Private Pay Practice
I'm currently a private pay practice, which means I don't bill insurance directly. This intentional choice allows me to provide the highest quality, most personalized care to each client.
Complete Privacy
No mental health diagnosis required on your medical record. Your therapy stays completely confidential.
Your Treatment, Your Terms
No insurance company dictating how many sessions you can have or what we can work on together.
No Paperwork Hassles
Skip the frustration of authorizations, claim denials, and insurance bureaucracy.
Full Flexibility
We can meet as often as makes sense for you and adjust as your needs change.
Using Your Out-of-Network Benefits
Even though I don't bill insurance directly, you may be able to get reimbursed through your out-of-network benefits.
How it works:
I provide you with a superbill, a detailed receipt with all the information your insurance needs. You submit it to your insurance company, and many clients are reimbursed 50-80% of the session fee.
Tip: Call your insurance and ask: "What are my out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health with an AMFT?" They can tell you your deductible and reimbursement rate.
Getting Started
Book a Free Consultation
Schedule a 15-minute phone call through my online booking system. This is your chance to share what brings you to therapy and ask any questions.
See If We're a Good Fit
During our call, we'll both get a sense of whether we're a good match. Fit matters in therapy. If I'm not the right person, I'll help you find someone who is.
Begin Your Journey
If we decide to move forward, we'll schedule your first full session. You'll receive intake paperwork to complete beforehand so we can maximize our time together.
