Fees & getting started.

I believe in transparency about cost. Here’s everything you need to know about fees and the process of beginning therapy.

Session fees
i. Individual

$150

per 50‑minute session

ii. Couples & family

$180

per 50‑minute session

iii. Free consultation

15 minutes, on the phone.

Every new client starts with a complimentary 15‑minute phone consultation to make sure we’re a good fit.

A private pay practice

An intentional choice.

I’m currently a private pay practice, which means I don’t bill insurance directly. This allows me to provide the highest quality, most personalized care to each client.

  • 01

    Complete privacy

No mental health diagnosis required on your medical record. Your therapy stays completely confidential.

  • 02

    Your treatment, your terms

No insurance company dictating how many sessions you can have or what we can work on together.

  • 03

    No paperwork hassles

Skip the frustration of authorizations, claim denials, and insurance bureaucracy.

  • 04

    Full flexibility

We can meet as often as makes sense for you and adjust as your needs change.

Out‑of‑network reimbursement

Even though I don’t bill insurance directly, you may be able to get reimbursed through your out‑of‑network benefits.

How it works

I provide you with a superbill — a detailed receipt with all the information your insurance needs. You submit it, and many clients are reimbursed 50–80% of the session fee.

Tip: Call your insurance and ask: “What are my out‑of‑network benefits for outpatient mental health with an AMFT?” They can tell you your deductible and reimbursement rate.
