My approach

Integrative therapy tailored to what you need most, drawing from multiple evidence‑based methods. Warm, collaborative, grounded.

01

Warm

Connection is the foundation of healing.

02

Collaborative

You’re the expert on your own life.

03

Grounded

Evidence‑based, not just intuition.

Therapy with me is a real conversation, not a lecture, not a checklist of symptoms, but a genuine exploration of what’s happening for you. I bring clinical expertise, but I trust that you bring essential knowledge about your own experience.

I believe meaningful change happens when we go beyond surface symptoms to understand the underlying patterns. That said, I also value practical tools. You’ll leave our sessions not just with insight, but with tangible strategies you can use.

The tools I draw from

No jargon. No alphabet soup.

Just clear explanations of how these approaches might help you.

  • i.

    Psychodynamic Therapy

Understanding how your past shapes your present

We explore the patterns, beliefs, and relational dynamics that developed earlier in your life. By bringing these into awareness, you gain the freedom to respond to life differently instead of automatically repeating old scripts.

  • ii.

    Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Learning to move forward even when it’s hard

Instead of fighting against difficult thoughts and feelings, ACT helps you make space for them while still taking action toward what matters most to you. It’s about living a meaningful life, even when things aren’t perfect.

  • iii.

    Attachment-Based Therapy

Healing patterns that started in early relationships

How we learned to connect (or protect ourselves from connection) in childhood shapes how we show up in relationships today. Understanding your attachment style can unlock profound shifts in how you relate to yourself and others.

  • iv.

    Brainspotting★ specialized

Processing trauma stored in the body

This specialized technique accesses the brain’s natural ability to heal from trauma. By finding specific eye positions that correlate with activation in your nervous system, we can process experiences that talk therapy alone may not reach.

  • v.

    Motivational Interviewing (MI)

Finding your own motivation for change

Rather than me telling you what to do, MI helps you discover your own reasons for change. I’ll ask questions that help you clarify what you want and work through ambivalence about getting there.

  • vi.

    Cognitive Behavioral Techniques

Practical tools for shifting thoughts and behaviors

When helpful, I incorporate practical strategies for identifying unhelpful thought patterns and building new habits. These tools give you concrete ways to create change between sessions.

What this actually looks like

In practice, our sessions might look different from week to week. Sometimes we’ll be doing deep processing work, exploring memories or patterns that have shaped you. Other times, we might focus on a current challenge and develop practical strategies.

I’ll always explain my thinking and check in about what resonates. Therapy shouldn’t feel like something being done to you. It should feel like a partnership.

And while I take our work seriously, I also believe in the power of lightness. There’s room for humor, for celebrating wins, and for acknowledging that growth can actually feel good sometimes.
