Supervision ensures I receive ongoing guidance and support in my clinical work while I complete the hours required for full licensure. My supervisor is available to consult on cases and provides oversight of my clinical practice.

Confidentiality & HIPAA

Your Privacy Is Protected

Everything we discuss in therapy is confidential. This means I will not share information about you or our sessions with anyone without your written permission, except in the following situations required by law:

  • If I believe you are at imminent risk of harming yourself
  • If I believe you pose an imminent threat to another person
  • If I suspect abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or dependent adult
  • If ordered to release records by a court of law

In any of these situations, I will only disclose the minimum information necessary.

HIPAA Compliance

I comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), which protects the privacy of your health information.

This means:

  • Your records are stored securely (digitally encrypted and password-protected)
  • I use HIPAA-compliant platforms for video sessions and communication
  • You have the right to access your treatment records
  • You have the right to request corrections to your records
  • You will receive a Notice of Privacy Practices before we begin treatment
